PENDOLA: A BIRD’S NEST IN YOUR TREES

Inspired from the nest of the Oropendola bird, our Pendola will simply float among the tree-tops or under a branch in your garden.
Let it hang where you want, treat yourself to a cosy nest, easy to set up.
Simple
The Pendola hangs from one anchor point, it is easily and quickly set up. It is sold with very thorough instructions.
With the tripod (optional), you will be able to set it up anywhere you wish, for instance to swing by the pool.
The Pendola offers a unique natural scenery, once the canvas is folded up there is a 360° panorama.
Removable and waterproof
It is sold in two boxes, so that it can be set up, taken apart and stored away quite simply, the canvas and the other parts well protected.
Only 40 kg, 4 m high and 3.2 m in diameter, you can set it up anywhere!

FRENCH GLAMPING
After a first few successful experiences abroad, SELVAO CONCEPTION starts selling its products out of France.
Our products, like the Pendola and the Goutte d’Ô, are easily exported, since they can be directly set up by our customers, our partners or our teams.
SELVAO CONCEPTION can work on adapting the accommodations to local regulations and specificities and thus meet the expectations of their customers, supporting their projects.
For instance, the company has worked on very diverse projects like setting up a Goutte d’Ô in the Fundy National Park in Canada and the design of a suspended walkway in a rainforest in Gabon

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND LOCAL PRODUCTION
ABOUT US
The company SELVAO CONCEPTION was created in 2012 but finds its roots in its name, inspired of the “selva” - the Spanish for forest. Indeed, it is in the hear of the forests in South and Central America that the project was born.
Guillaume Maurin, a mechanical engineer and a tree climbing instructor, participates in several scientific missions to explore the canopy from 2006 to 2009. At this time, he would set up light, mobile camps in the treetops, 30 m up in the air.
Back in France, Guillaume Maurin creating more projects of suspended places in the trees, to share his passion for this vegetation. Given the success of those facilities and the growing market of light recreational accommodations, he and his team decide to create SELVAO CONCEPTION, a company that would specialise in the design, manufacturing and set up of suspended places inspired by nature.
Now, the company wishes to share this passion for the plant world by offering solutions for accommodations in harmony with it.

Guillaume Maurin
Guillaume Maurin, founder of SELVAO CONCEPTION, is the central element of the company. A mechanical engineer, he first designs our projects with CAD softwares (Computer Aided Design).
When he was an enthusiastic tree climber and an instructor, Guillaume explored many forests for a better insight, to observe and understand them... This is why he is so familiar with the tree world. The many aerial installations he has designed and set up throughout the world have given him the necessary experience to set up our products in all kinds of environment.
From designing to building, he suggests solutions for a life in the trees. His knowledge of materials and French subcontractors are a an undeniable advantage in the search for the best technical solutions...
Thibaut Labonde
Thibaut Labonde, Commercial director: “Travel” and “respect for the environment” have always been part of Thibaut’s professional experience in France and abroad. Developing SELVAO CONCEPTION, he can bring them together.
Frédéric Bompard
Frédéric Bompard, Development director: An explorer and a great traveller at heart, he joined SELVAO CONCEPTION in January 2015. After his experience in several work environments, banking, tour operating then consulting, he was inspired by the company’s project for it corresponds to his values. Now, with Guillaume and Thibaut, he wants to bring his expertise and develop the company in the best conditions.
